In many circumstances, it is necessary for Pre-clearance Surveys to be conducted directly prior to or at the time of construction commencing. This is often detailed as a Consent Condition of a Development Application, especially when hollow-bearing trees are being removed as they can house microbats and arboreal mammals. The intent of Pre-clearance Surveys is to ensure the safety of fauna (and sometimes flora) by removing them from any danger by a specialist Ecologist and relocating them to adjacent habitat.
EnviroKey has extensive experience in Pre-clearance Surveys across the NSW South Coast, Southern Tablelands and Western NSW. All Pre-clearance Surveys are conducted under an appropriate licence issued by the NSW Department of Environment & Climate Change.
