Experimental Design & Analysis

Experimental Design & Analysis is often lost in the world of ecological and environmental consulting, and usually only seriously dealt with by scientists and academics. However, many ecological and environmental consultants are starting to design more 'robust' methodologies to ensure that their assessments fully consider the potential impacts of a proposed activity and that they meet with adequacy requirements expected by government agencies.

While a robust scientific design may not suit many short term projects, larger projects and monitoring programs do require an adequate Experimental Design & Analysis to ensure that they comply with minimum survey requirements or can be used for statistical analysis. A simple data set could provide valuable information such as, 'Is the observed bird community different acReptile surveys in Western NSWross the vegetation communities of a site?' Often the question asked is simply, 'Can we perform any statistics on the data collected?'

EnviroKey can provide specialist advice on matters regarding Experimental Design & Analysis for even the smallest projects.
